Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children for their educationi in Gundi Area, Near Patna to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with better education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

History of the School

Gundi is the native place of the Founder President Vishnu Shanker Singh, who is settled in Delhi for last 30 years as a Business Consultant. The villagers in 2001 urged him to establish a High school in the village as the students had to travel to Arrah, 12 KM away, to study and specially the guardians could not send the girl students to such a far off place due to security reasons and financial constraints. The village being very backward in terms of economy and communication in the rural areas of Bhojpur consisted of mostly landless labours, SC/ST, Backward class and economically marginalised people except a few landlords with least concern of development of the area.

The President agreed to the request of the villagers to invest in the establishment of the school and the four villagers donated the land and as result Vishnu Shanker Girls High School was established in 2001 itself. Later on, the school collaborated with Gurukul Trust and Research centre Patna in2019 which has around more than 20 schools In Bihar which maintains the quality of education, through training, recruitment, motivational courses etc conducting exam And monitoring the performance to maintain the standard of education. Right now, the school is providing quality education to the students of more than 20 villages especially the girls and Empowering the the area with education. Many students from the school have become engineers and joined multinationals and many have have joined Army, Airforce Etc and have achieved the goal in their life.
